Local processing and storage

The generators, dice roller, initiative tracker, exports and portrait selector run in the tab. To keep one brief and pinned results coherent while you move between tools, the current brief, seed and up to eight bounded pins are written to one gmfieldkit.tab.v1 sessionStorage record. It is limited to this browser tab and is removed when that tab session ends. “Save on this device” separately writes one versioned gmfieldkit.session.v1 record with the same fields to localStorage for a later visit; “Forget saved session” removes only that durable record. Initiative rows stay in memory and disappear on reload. Share links put the bounded brief, seed and pins in the URL fragment; browsers do not send that fragment in the web request, but anyone you give the complete link to can read it.

Cookieless audience measurement

Public routes load self-hosted Umami from analytics.pagefabrica.com. It can receive the page address and title, referrer, browser language and screen size. The service also receives the IP address and user agent needed to deliver the request, may use them for a non-persistent session hash and derives coarse browser, device and location statistics; it does not set an analytics cookie or store the IP address as a visitor profile.

The only product event names GM Field Kit can send are work_started, work_completed, pack_started, pack_completed, pack_printed, pack_png_saved, state_reused, portrait_selected and share_intent. They carry no label, choice, seed, result, portrait id, fragment, error text or other property. We use this limited measurement for the legitimate interest of operating, securing and improving the site. It honours Do Not Track; blocking it or objecting by email does not disable a tool. Aggregate records have no fixed automatic expiry and may remain until manually deleted.

Advertising is prepared, not serving

Every ad unit id is empty, so this release makes no Google advertising request and writes no advertising storage. A later, separately approved activation must use a Google-certified TCF v2.3 consent platform for visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland, keep refusal and withdrawal available, and honour applicable US opt-out signals including Global Privacy Control. Briefs, party labels, seeds and results are never advertising attributes.

Your choices and rights

Use “Reset tab & pins”, “Forget saved session”, clear this site’s browser storage, remove a share fragment before forwarding a URL, enable Do Not Track or block the analytics origin. Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction or deletion, object to processing, withdraw consent, opt out of applicable sale or sharing, or complain to a data-protection authority. Because there is no account and your game data does not leave the device, we may have no record that can be linked to you.
